Attorney Dennis P. Lee established the Lee Law Office because he saw an opportunity to transform the traditional estate planning experience that most clients experience. He views the creation of an estate plan as the first step in a lifelong relationship with clients.

At the heart of the law firm are the core values that drive us every day.

  • Being passionate about what we do
  • Creating plans that are driven by a purpose, not just avoiding probate and taxes
  • Believing that our work makes a real difference in the life of our clients and their families
  • Understanding that everyone’s situation is unique, and an estate plan should reflect the goals of each family.
  • Being honest and setting proper expectations at the beginning of our relationship
  • Always maintaining communication with our clients

Clients that have been referred to Lee Law Office have shared with us that a family member or friend had gone through a probate process or forced to litigate a trust because it was not properly drafted. By following our core values above, Lee Law Office customizes each plan in a fashion that many of the issues that have forced a trust to be litigated in the past can easily be avoided. Everything revolves around the client relationship. We take the time to gain an understanding of the family, understand the goals of each client, maintain a lifelong relationship with the client, and complete a periodic review of the trust to ensure the plan still meets the client’s goals and any changes in the family. We want clients to be confident knowing that they have put a plan in place that is effective and works the way they intended.

We are passionate about educating others on the importance of estate planning and we offer free seminars for those interested in learning more. We also offer a free review of existing estate planning documents to ensure the plan you have in place will meet your goals. Understanding your estate planning documents and knowing they accomplish your goals is critical. Not being properly informed can lead to devastating and costly consequences.

When it may become necessary, we also offer probate and trust administration services. Probate can be a confusing, expensive and time-consuming process. We can help you every step of the way to ensure mistakes are avoided and the process is as smooth and efficient as possible.  For those who are trustees of a trust, we encourage you to meet with an attorney to understand your duties and liabilities, and what you should do to ensure the trust is properly administered. It is common for us to find that a trustee is unaware of how to manage the trust which can lead to expensive litigation and may also prevent them from taking advantage of several tax saving opportunities.

When it comes to estate planning, we understand that discussing personal, family, and financial matters with an attorney you just met can be difficult. Our goal is for you to feel comfortable discussing your concerns and be confident that we are the right firm to offer you a solution. We welcome you to schedule a consultation with us. We never share your information and will never be offended or upset if you decide not to retain us. We understand that not every relationship is the proper fit and respect any decision you make.
